I would like to recognize and offer a huge THANK YOU to all of our awesome Child Nutrition staff who's dedication and endless hard work, each and every day, improves the health and wellness of our district's students.  Between preparing healthy meals for our communities students, adhering to strict nutrition standards, navigating student food allergies, and offering service with a smile, school nutrition professionals are true heroes.

On April 12th, 2018, the Kootenai Elementary school welcomed Seattle Seahawks offensive tackle, George Fant to the school to help celebrate the grant that was awarded to the school. George took photos and then talked with all the students from the school about healthy eating and exercise.
