LPOSD offers opportunities for students to take individual classes at all grade levels without attending school full-time. Whether your student is homeschooled, attends private school, or is transitioning from full-time to part-time enrollment, they can access courses that complement their education, from core academics and electives to career and technical education.
Course availability, scheduling, and prerequisites vary by school and program. School staff can help you confirm available options.
Ready to get started? Select the enrollment option that applies to your student below.
If your student has never attended an LPOSD school, follow the New Student Enrollment process.
When school staff contact you after reviewing your pre-registration form, let them know you're interested in part-time enrollment and which classes or programs your student would like to take.
If your student currently attends or has previously attended an LPOSD school, follow the Returning Student Registration process.
Contact your student's school to discuss transitioning to part-time enrollment or enrolling in individual classes. School staff will help you determine the appropriate next steps.
LPOSD's Career & Technical Education Center (CTEC) at Sandpoint High School offers hands-on learning opportunities in a variety of career pathways. Students interested in taking individual CTEC courses can explore programs on the CTEC website and use the same steps above to get started.
