LPOSD Online Academy offers students flexibility combined with meaningful teacher support. With the option to work on courses from home or in alternative learning enviroments, students can work independently and find the support and direction they need to excel in their learning.
If you are not zoned for LPOSD, please start the Open Enrollment process by clicking HERE to fill out the Open Enrollment Application.
Please be sure to email amanda.heilman@lposd.org before starting this process (include your name, your child's name(s), and phone number).
Step 1: Pre-Registration Process
All new students must first be pre-registered and approved before completing the enrollment process.
To pre-register your child, please click HERE.
Fill out the fields and click submit.
*Under 'Zoned school for next year' select Clark Fork Jr/Sr High School from the dropdown.
If submitted correctly, you will receive a message that says, “Your pre-registration form has been submitted successfully!”
A confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided in the form.
If you do not see it in your inbox, please check your spam folder.
Please allow some time for staff to review and respond to your submission.
You will receive an email with further directions once your submission is reviewed.
Step 2: Create a PowerSchool Parent Portal Account
If you already have an account, add your new student's Access ID and Access Password to your current account (log in, go to Account Preferences, and select the Students tab).
To create an account, go to https://lposd.powerschool.com/public.
Click on the "Create Account" tab; then, the "Create Account" button.
Fill out the fields - you will need the Access ID and Access Password from your pre-registartion approval email.
We highly recommend using your email address as your username.
Step 3: Complete Enrollment Forms
Log into the Parent Portal.
Select 'Forms' on the left.
Go to the 'Enrollment tab.'
Access each form by clicking on the title.
Once a form is completed, click 'Submit' at the bottom.
Step 4: Upload Required Documents (must be complete to enroll student into classes/courses)
Birth Certificates
A copy needs to be upload and a certified copy needs to be brought to Clark Fork Jr/Sr High School or the District Office for verification.
If you do not already have a certified copy of the birth certificate, the address to send for one in the state of Idaho is Vital Statistics, P.O. Box 83720, Boise, ID 83720-0036. For other states, contact the state capital, your school office, or the Lake Pend Oreille School District office for addresses.
Immunization Records
Idaho law requires that students provide complete immunization documentation OR completion of the Idaho School Immunization Requirements Exemption Form (click link).
For questions regarding immunizations, call Panhandle Health District at (208) 263-5159; or the Lake Pend Oreille School District Nurse at (208) 263-9525.
Proof of Current Residency
Accepted: Utility Bill, Internet Bill, Mortgage Statement, and Lease Agreement
Not Accepted: Cellphone Bill and Driver's License

Add a new child to your account (see screenshot).
